Modern Foreign Languages Teacher

A well-established secondary school on the South Coast (Gosport) is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Modern Foreign Languages Teacher to join the school during a period of maternity cover. This is an excellent opportunity for an inspiring teacher to join a highly regarded Languages Department, known for its supportive team and engaged, motivated students. The successful candidate will deliver high-quality teaching of Modern Foreign Languages across KS3, KS4, and potentially KS5, planning and delivering engaging lessons that promote strong progress and a love of language learning. They will maintain high expectations for behaviour, achievement, and student engagement, while contributing positively to the wider life and ethos of the school and sixth form. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong subject knowledge, a genuine passion for Modern Foreign Languages, the ability to inspire and motivate students of varying abilities, and a commitment to high standards of teaching, learning, and assessment. This post would suit either an experienced MFL teacher or an early career teacher seeking a supportive and well-resourced environment.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
