MFL Teacher (French Specialist)

Location: Clitheroe, Lancashire
Contract: Full-time, April 2026 – December 2026

About the Role

A vibrant and high‑achieving secondary school in Clitheroe is seeking an enthusiastic MFL Teacher specialising in French to join their team from April 2026 to December 2026. This is a full‑time role covering KS3 and KS4, with the opportunity to make a real impact on students’ language learning and cultural understanding.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Delivering engaging and well‑structured French lessons across KS3–KS4
  • Inspiring students through innovative teaching and creative language activities
  • Planning, assessing, and tracking pupil progress
  • Contributing to the wider MFL department and whole‑school initiatives
  • Creating a positive, inclusive, and supportive classroom environment

What We’re Looking For

  • A passionate and dedicated MFL specialist with a strong background in French
  • QTS (or equivalent) and experience teaching in a UK secondary school
  • Strong classroom management and excellent communication skills
  • A commitment to high standards and student achievement
  • The ability to work effectively as part of a collaborative team
