Job description

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic MFL Spanish Teacher to join a thriving secondary school in Bolton after the Easter break. This is a full‑time teaching role, delivering high‑quality Spanish lessons across KS3 and KS4. The school is well-resourced, supportive, and committed to providing an excellent learning environment for both students and staff. The successful educator will be paid to scale based on MPS/UPS.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and deliver engaging Spanish lessons in line with the national curriculum
  • Teach across KS3–KS4, with the ability to stretch and challenge all learners
  • Assess, track, and report on pupil progress
  • Contribute to the wider MFL department and school community
  • Maintain high standards of behaviour management and safeguarding

Requirements

  • Must hold UK QTS (Qualified Teacher Status)
  • Specialism in Spanish, with additional languages beneficial but not essential
  • Experience teaching in UK secondary schools
  • Strong classroom management and communication skills
  • A passion for languages and student progress
