Job description

We are seeking a qualified MFL Teacher to join a secondary school in Bolton on a full-time basis from Easter 2026.

This is an excellent opportunity for a passionate and committed languages teacher to deliver high-quality teaching within a supportive secondary school environment.

The Role:

  • Teach Modern Foreign Languages across KS3 and KS4
  • Plan and deliver engaging, well-structured lessons
  • Assess, monitor, and report on pupil progress
  • Maintain high standards of classroom behaviour and learning
  • Work collaboratively within the MFL department and wider school team
  • Uphold safeguarding and school policies at all times

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) – essential
  • Experience teaching MFL at secondary level
  • Strong subject knowledge and classroom management skills
  • Ability to motivate and engage pupils of varying abilities
  • Commitment to professional standards and inclusive education

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
