Job description

 Maths Tutor – S44 (Chesterfield) | 

Are you passionate about Maths and making a real difference in a young person’s life? We’re looking for a dedicated Maths Tutor to support students in the S44 (Chesterfield) area 

This is a highly rewarding opportunity to deliver personalised, face-to-face tuition and help learners build confidence and achieve their potential.


Location: Chesterfield, S44
Schedule: Monday to Friday – School Hours
Contract: Part-time / Ongoing
Setting:  SEN Support


✨ About the Role

You will deliver engaging and tailored Maths sessions on a 1:1 or small group basis, supporting students who may have additional needs or gaps in their learning.


Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver Maths lessons tailored to individual learning needs
  • Support students with SEN, SEMH, or additional barriers
  • Adapt teaching methods to suit different learning styles
  • Build confidence and encourage engagement
  • Track progress and provide feedback

✅ Requirements

  • Experience teaching or tutoring Maths
  • Strong subject knowledge
  • Experience working with children or young people
  • SEN experience (desirable)
  • Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
