Maths Teacher

Are you a Teacher/Tutor who is comfortable teaching Maths up to GCSE/Functional Skills level?

Are you looking for a new role where you will be working 1:1/1:2 with students?

Do you have experience teaching students with autism or any SEN? 

The School:

• A Special Needs School which caters for around 20 students all who have autism/MLD.

• Provide a nurturing and friendly atmosphere, helping to raise self-esteem and self-confidence

• A range of facilities for pupils to benefit from, including a sensory garden 

• Classrooms designed to provide a low stimulus environment for pupils with autism

The Job Role:

• To plan and deliver effective 1:1 Math's lessons

• Be able to plan effectively for students 

• Provide 1:1 support for 16-19 year olds studying GCSE/Maths functional skills.


• Hold UK Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or PGCE 

• Ideally have experience of teaching pupils with special educational needs or current/previous experience teaching students within a school setting
