-          Full-time Maths teacher required, September 2020 start date.

-          Experience teaching across KS3 and GCSE is essential, planning and marking required.

-          Pay in line with teaching scale point, GBP24,373 - GBP40,490 per annum.

Teaching Personnel are working in partnership with the Senior Leadership Team at a large Roman Catholic secondary school to support with the recruitment of a full-time Maths teacher to join their faculty from September 2020. This open vacancy will provide the successful Maths teacher with a permanent role, following an initial temporary period for one term.

It is essential that interested applicants have experience teaching Maths to students across Key Stage Three and GCSE and can successfully differentiate Maths work to meet the requirements of all learners.

A higher than average percentage of pupils are eligible for pupil premium funding and additional support has been put in place to identify lower attainers, with plans to improve this across Maths in particular. The incoming Maths teacher will be expected to implement the ethos and values of the school within lessons and create a diverse and engaging environment to facilitate learning. The school is near to Blackley, North Manchester and there are an abundance of public transportation links that lead to the school. There is a train station just a short walk away from the school, meaning that those travelling from Oldham, Rochdale and central Manchester have a direct route. For drivers, the M60 Motorway provides a direct route to the school from Greater Manchester areas.
