Have you recently completed your teacher training and seeking a new teaching role to kickstart your career in Education?

Our client high school in Wigan require a dynamic and engaging English teacher to start post October half-term on a full-time basis. You will be taking on a full timetable, teaching across KS3 and KS4 up to GCSE level.

As an English teacher, you will have excellent knowledge of the English curriculum and schemes of work. You will plan and deliver English lessons that promote creativity and critical thinking. It is required that you assess students against set marking criteria and set new motivating targets to help raise English attainment levels.

About this role:

  • £30,000 - £46,525 per annum in line with the teacher pay scale (M1 – UPS3).
  • Full-time English teaching role from November 2023.
  • ECTs encouraged to apply.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with PGCE specialising in English.
  • Experience teaching KS3 and KS4 English.
  • Must have an Enhanced DBS certificate on the update service or be willing to apply for one.
