A school in Cardiff require a Maths teacher to start a full time post ASAP.

  • Full time Maths teaching post 1 term initially (until Easter 2022)

The school are looking for a Maths teacher experienced teaching KS3-KS4 Mathematics. This is a large sized secondary school with approx. 1100 pupils on roll. The leadership team have based their ethos around a focus of equipping young adults for life beyond school. The school works closely with its local community and promotes extracurricular activities and events within the local area.

The successful Maths Teacher will be commencing ideally before the Xmas holidays until Easter in the first instance with the role continuing for the right Maths Teacher until the end of the academic year. The school have also communicated the possibility of the role continuing in to next year and made permanent for the right Maths Teacher.  

The school are open to applications from NQTs or experienced Maths teacher with a preference for someone with strong behavioural management skills. The school caters for a broad range of abilities and if successful you will need to be able to ensure your lessons are engaging for the lower ability groups as well as the more able and talented pupils.  If you have recently left or leaving your current Teaching position and are thinking about your next Maths post, Teaching Personnel welcomes your application. All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
