Maths Teacher – Key Stage 3 (QTS Required)
Wimborne | Full-Time | September 2025 Start (Early Start Possible)

Are you an inspiring Maths teacher with QTS, looking to make a real impact in a specialist school setting?

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a committed and passionate educator to join a supportive team in a thriving school based in Wimborne, catering for students aged 4 to 18 with special educational needs (SEN).

This is a full-time position starting in September 2025, with the possibility of an earlier start date. Working hours are 8.45am to 3.30pm, Monday to Friday, during term time.

 

About the Role:

We are seeking a teacher who is:

  • Experienced or enthusiastic about working with SEN pupils

  • Able to deliver engaging and accessible Maths lessons at Key Stage 3

  • Confident in adapting the curriculum to meet individual needs

  • Calm, patient and positive in their approach

You’ll be joining a nurturing school community where the focus is on personalised learning, wellbeing, and inclusive education. The school boasts a strong ethos centred around therapeutic support, creativity, and developing life skills alongside academic progress. Class sizes are small, and every pupil is known and valued.

 

What You’ll Need:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)

  • Experience teaching Key Stage 3 Maths (SEN experience desirable)

  • A child-centred, flexible approach to teaching

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
