Maths Teacher – Secondary School – Weymouth

A welcoming and ambitious secondary school in Weymouth, Dorset, is seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Maths Teacher to join their thriving Mathematics department. This is an excellent opportunity for either an experienced Maths Teacher or an ECT looking to begin their career in a supportive environment.
About the Role
As a Maths Teacher, you will:
- Teach engaging and high-quality lessons across KS3 and KS4
- Deliver a curriculum that challenges, inspires and promotes excellent progress
- Use assessment and data to track student performance and plan effective interventions
- Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment where all learners can succeed
- Contribute to the ongoing development of the Maths curriculum
- Work collaboratively with a supportive and experienced Maths team

- A qualified Maths Teacher with QTS (or ECT completing training)
- Someone with strong subject knowledge and a passion for Mathematics

- Someone who can inspire and motivate students of varying abilities
Requirements
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Strong Mathematics subject knowledge
- Ability to teach KS3 & KS4 confidently
- A strong commitment to safeguarding and student wellbeing

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
