Full Time Mathematics Teacher.

Salisbury.

M1 – UPS3.

January 2024.

KS3 & KS4.

Permanent vacancy.

Teaching Personnel are actively looking for a Maths specialist to join one of our client secondary schools in Salisbury on a full time permanent basis. (part time can be considered)

The school strives to ensure every child achieves their absolute best, is safe, happy, and challenged to be creative and think.

It is key that the incoming Maths teacher has the ability to deliver engaging and enthusiastic maths lessons to students in a collaborative style and has excellent behaviour management skills in order to maintain excellent class control whilst motivating pupils to push beyond their expected grades. The ideal candidate will have QTS in Mathematics and will be confident within a classroom setting. They will also possess the ability to cultivate and maintain effective working relationships and will be able to use this to their advantage when motivating students within the subject.

The successful teacher will take sole responsibility of a complete teaching timetable which will consist of full planning and marking responsibilities.

You must obtain a child only DBS and register it on the update service to be considered.

  • Vast knowledge and understanding of the Maths curriculum

  • Support the department by delivering lessons to a high standard
  • To ensure that all safeguarding responsibilities are met, in line with school safeguarding policy
  • Demonstrating a passion for education
  • Keeping a record of behaviour

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
