Maths Teacher
Are you an inspiring and adaptable Maths Teacher looking for a rewarding role? A specialist provision in Colne is seeking a dedicated Maths Teacher to join their team starting in October.
This small provision supports pupils with additional needs, including SEN and Autism, offering a trauma-informed approach to education. The school provides a nurturing environment where students can thrive both academically and emotionally.
Role Overview:
- Start Date: October
- Location: Colne
- Pay: Dependent on skills and experience
- Contract: Full-time/Part-time (flexibility available)
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging and tailored Maths lessons to pupils with varying abilities
- Support students with SEN and additional needs in overcoming barriers to learning
- Implement trauma-informed strategies to foster a positive learning environment
- Collaborate with the wider school team to meet the holistic needs of each pupil
The Ideal Candidate Will:
- Be a qualified Maths Teacher (QTS or equivalent)
- Have experience working with students with SEN and/or additional needs
- Be passionate about inclusive education and trauma-informed practice
- Be patient, empathetic, and committed to supporting every pupil’s growth

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
