Position: Maths Teacher (with KS3 ICT)
Start Date: ASAP for trial day/short fixed‑term booking to July or September 2026 (permanent)
Contract: Fixed‑term or permanent options available
Location: Cambridgeshire area
Salary: Dependant on experience
About the Role
A specialist SEN school supporting autistic learners (ASD) is seeking a committed, adaptable, and enthusiastic Maths Teacher to join the teaching team. The school provides a calm, structured and supportive environment, prioritising personalised learning and strong pastoral relationships.
This role will suit:
- A qualified Maths teacher with a passion for inclusive education
- An ECT seeking a nurturing environment with additional support and remittance
- Or an experienced teacher looking to deepen their practice within a specialist provision
The role also includes delivering basic digital literacy / ICT to Key Stage 3 groups.
Candidate Profile
We are looking for someone who:
- Is a qualified teacher of Maths (ECT or experienced)
- Has the ability to deliver KS3 ICT, focused on digital literacy
- Is patient, calm, and skilled at building rapport with autistic learners
- Values teamwork and open communication
- Can contribute to a positive, low-arousal, structured learning environment
- Is flexible and willing to adapt materials to meet a range of needs
Early Start Opportunity
If a suitable candidate is identified before the end of the academic year, the school may offer:
- A trial day
- A short fixed‑term contract through to July
Anyone joining on a fixed‑term basis will be invited to apply for the permanent September vacancy.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
