An exciting full-time opportunity has arisen at one of our partner secondary schools located in the centre of Wigan.

We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic, highly motivated Maths’s teacher to make a substantial contribution to the further development of well-respected secondary school within its local area.

Job Summary:

  • Full-time Maths teaching role.
  • Planning and marking responsibilities included.
  • Competitive pay in line with MPS/UPS standards.
  • Starting in January with temporary employment until Easter 22.
  • Interviews to be held imminently.

Ideally you will be:

  • A committed specialist with impressive expertise and a passion for the subject
  • In the process of completing a PGCE in Maths, or have completed a PGCE
  • A level qualification would be preferred but is not needed
  • Available to work full-time in January
  • Committed to high teaching standards and levels of behaviour management.

This is a fantastic opportunity to join the secondary school which is making substantial progress under current leadership. In turn, we are looking for a candidate committed to playing a part in upholding the standards of the school and staff.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
