Maths Secondary Tutor – Chesterfield (S42)
We are currently seeking a passionate and dedicated Maths Secondary Tutor to support students in the Chesterfield (S42) area. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a real difference by helping learners build confidence and achieve success in Maths.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Deliver engaging one-to-one or small group Maths tuition at secondary level
- Support students with core topics and exam preparation
- Plan and adapt lessons to meet individual learning needs
- Encourage confidence, motivation, and academic progress
- Monitor and report on student development
What We’re Looking For:
- Experience teaching or tutoring Maths at secondary level
- Strong subject knowledge
- Experience working with young people (SEN experience desirable)
- Good behaviour management skills
- A patient, supportive, and adaptable approach
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
- Right to work in the UK
Working Hours:
- Part-time / flexible
- Weekdays (Monday to Friday)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
