Job description

Maths Secondary Tutor – Chesterfield (S42)

We are currently seeking a passionate and dedicated Maths Secondary Tutor to support students in the Chesterfield (S42) area. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a real difference by helping learners build confidence and achieve success in Maths.

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Deliver engaging one-to-one or small group Maths tuition at secondary level
  • Support students with core topics and exam preparation
  • Plan and adapt lessons to meet individual learning needs
  • Encourage confidence, motivation, and academic progress
  • Monitor and report on student development

What We’re Looking For:

  • Experience teaching or tutoring Maths at secondary level
  • Strong subject knowledge
  • Experience working with young people (SEN experience desirable)
  • Good behaviour management skills
  • A patient, supportive, and adaptable approach
  • Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
  • Right to work in the UK

Working Hours:

  • Part-time / flexible
  • Weekdays (Monday to Friday)

Location:

  • Chesterfield, S42

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
