Maths Secondary Tutor – Chesterfield (S42)

At TP Tutors, we’re passionate about helping students succeed and giving tutors the flexibility to do what they do best—teach. We’re currently looking for a dedicated Maths Tutor in Chesterfield (S42) to support secondary students, particularly those preparing for GCSEs.


The Role

As a Maths Tutor, you’ll provide personalised 1:1 support to secondary students, helping them build confidence, improve understanding, and achieve their academic goals.


Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver engaging, tailored Maths lessons to secondary students

  • Support students preparing for GCSE exams

  • Identify learning gaps and adapt teaching methods accordingly

  • Track progress and provide feedback to parents/schools


What We’re Looking For

  • Experience teaching or tutoring Maths at secondary level

  • Strong subject knowledge (GCSE Maths essential)

  • Ability to engage and motivate students on a 1:1 basis

  • Patient, reliable, and enthusiastic approach

  • Relevant qualifications (degree preferred but not essential)
