Job description

Maths and English Tutor – Stockport (SK6)

We are currently seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Maths and English Tutor to provide in-person 1:1 support to students in the Stockport SK6 area.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced tutor or education professional who is passionate about helping young people build confidence and achieve academic success.

Working Hours:

Monday to Friday – School Hours

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging 1:1 Maths and English tuition sessions in person
  • Support students with varying abilities and learning needs
  • Plan and adapt lessons to meet individual student requirements
  • Monitor progress and provide feedback where required
  • Create a positive and encouraging learning environment

Requirements:

  • Previous tutoring or teaching experience in Maths and English
  • Strong subject knowledge
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to motivate and engage students
  • Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)

Stockport, SK6

Pay:

Competitive rates depending on experience.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
