Job Title: Maths and English Tutor

Salary: £25.00 - £30.00 Per hour

Job Description:

• We are seeking a dedicated Maths and English Tutor to join our team in East Midlands, specifically in Leicestershire, Leicester. As a Tutor, you will be responsible for providing high-quality instruction in both Maths and English to students of all ages. Your role will involve developing lesson plans, conducting one-on-one or group tutoring sessions, and assessing students' progress to ensure their academic success.

Job Duties:

• Plan and deliver engaging Maths and English lessons
• Provide individualised instruction to students based on their learning needs
• Assess students' understanding and progress through regular evaluations
• Create a supportive and encouraging learning environment
• Communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues

Required Qualifications:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• Degree in Maths, English, Education, or related field
• Proven experience in tutoring Maths and English

Education:

• A degree in Maths, English, Education, or a related field is required for this role.

Experience:

• Previous experience in tutoring Maths and English is essential for this position.

Knowledge and Skills:

• Strong understanding of Maths and English curriculum
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet individual student needs
• Effective assessment and feedback skills

Preferred Qualifications:

• Postgraduate qualification in Education or related field
• Experience working with diverse student populations
