Job Title: Maths and English Tutor
Location: East Midlands, Leicestershire, Leicester
Salary: £25.00 - £30.00 Per hour
Job Description:
- We are seeking a dedicated Maths and English Tutor to join our team in East Midlands, specifically in Leicestershire, Leicester. As a Tutor, you will be responsible for providing high-quality instruction in both Maths and English to students of all ages. Your role will involve developing lesson plans, conducting one-on-one or group tutoring sessions, and assessing students' progress to ensure their academic success.
Job Duties:
- Plan and deliver engaging Maths and English lessons
- Provide individualised instruction to students based on their learning needs
- Assess students' understanding and progress through regular evaluations
- Create a supportive and encouraging learning environment
- Communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues
Required Qualifications:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Degree in Maths, English, Education, or related field
- Proven experience in tutoring Maths and English
Education:
- A degree in Maths, English, Education, or a related field is required for this role.
Experience:
- Previous experience in tutoring Maths and English is essential for this position.
Knowledge and Skills:
- Strong understanding of Maths and English curriculum
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet individual student needs
- Effective assessment and feedback skills
Preferred Qualifications:
- Postgraduate qualification in Education or related field
- Experience working with diverse student populations

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
