Role

Teaching Personnel are looking for a Fully Qualified or Newly Qualified Teacher for a full-time teaching post in Lower Key Stage 2 (mixed 3/4 class) starting in the new academic year for a permanent position. The school is located in Leeds, LS15 just a 15 minute drive away from the Leeds City Centre. Public transport route are also easily accessible to the school. The school are looking for a Teacher who is available full-time and is open to delivering extra-curricular activities. 

Ideal candidate

The school are looking for a Teacher who is:

  • Fully qualified or Newly qualified teacher who has previous teaching experience in Lower KS2 (Year 3/4)
  • Available full-time and looking for a permanent position from September 2022
  • Available to interview in the next 2-4 weeks
  • has a valid DBS and passport

School

The school received ‘Good’ at its last Ofsted in 2018 and last year received above 69% in the SATs across the entire school. Numeracy is a subject which KS2 struggle with and the school are looking for a teacher who is confident in delivering numeracy to Lower Key Stage 2 (Year 3/4 pupils), who may also be working at a KS1 level. The school have roughly 395 pupils on roll and have a small amount of SEN pupils in Lower KS2.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
