Teaching Personnel are currently recruiting enthusiastic, reliable and experienced Level 3 Teaching Assistants to work across a variety of primary and secondary schools throughout South Yorkshire.
We have opportunities available across Sheffield, Barnsley, Rotherham and Doncaster, with positions ranging from day-to-day supply to long-term placements.
The Role
As a Level 3 Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with teaching staff to support pupils' learning, development and wellbeing.
Your responsibilities may include:
- Supporting pupils on a one-to-one and small-group basis
- Working with teachers to deliver engaging learning activities
- Providing targeted support to pupils who require additional assistance
- Supporting pupils with SEND and additional learning needs
- Helping to manage classroom behaviour and maintain a positive learning environment
- Assisting with lesson preparation and classroom resources
- Supporting pupils' social, emotional and academic development
- Monitoring and reporting on pupil progress
- Working collaboratively with teachers, SENCOs and wider school staff
We Are Looking For
The ideal candidate will have:
- A Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent
- Previous experience working within a school or educational setting
- A genuine passion for supporting children and young people
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Excellent behaviour management and classroom support skills
- The ability to build positive relationships with pupils and staff
- A proactive, patient and adaptable approach
- Experience supporting SEND pupils is highly desirable

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
