Teaching Personnel are currently recruiting Level 3 Teaching Assistants to work across a range of primary and secondary schools throughout South Yorkshire.

The Role

As a Level 3 Teaching Assistant, you will play a key role in supporting pupils' learning, development and wellbeing. You may work alongside class teachers, provide targeted one-to-one or small-group support, assist with classroom activities and help create a positive and inclusive learning environment.

Typical responsibilities may include:

• Supporting teachers with the delivery of engaging and inclusive lessons
• Providing one-to-one and small-group support to pupils
• Supporting pupils with additional learning needs and SEND
• Helping to manage classroom behaviour and promote positive attitudes to learning
• Preparing classroom resources and learning materials
• Supporting pupils with their academic, social and emotional development
• Working collaboratively with teachers and wider school staff
• Encouraging pupils to develop confidence, independence and positive learning habits

What We're Looking For

We are particularly interested in candidates who have:

• A Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent
• Previous experience working within a school or educational setting
• A genuine passion for supporting children and young people
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• The ability to build positive relationships with pupils and staff
• A patient, adaptable and supportive approach
• Good classroom management skills
• The ability to work effectively as part of a team

Experience supporting pupils with SEND, behavioural needs or additional learning requirements would be highly desirable.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
