Job Description:
As a Level 3 Teaching Assistant, your responsibilities will include:
- Supporting the classroom teacher in planning and delivering engaging lessons
- Assisting with small group and one-on-one sessions to reinforce learning and address individual student needs
- Supporting children with special educational needs (SEN) and tailoring activities to meet their unique requirements
- Helping to manage classroom behaviour and maintain a positive, inclusive learning environment
- Assisting with the preparation of learning materials and classroom organization
- Monitoring and assessing student progress, providing feedback to the teacher and contributing to reports
- Encouraging social and emotional development through positive interactions with students
Qualifications:
- NVQ Level 3 in Supporting Teaching and Learning in Schools or equivalent
- Experience working with children in an educational setting
- Understanding of SEN and strategies to support diverse learners
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for supporting children’s learning and development
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team as well as independently

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
