As a Level 3 Teaching Assistant, you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality support to both students and teachers, ensuring a productive and positive learning experience.

Job Description:

As a Level 3 Teaching Assistant, your responsibilities will include:

  • Supporting the classroom teacher in planning and delivering engaging lessons
  • Assisting with small group and one-on-one sessions to reinforce learning and address individual student needs
  • Supporting children with special educational needs (SEN) and tailoring activities to meet their unique requirements
  • Helping to manage classroom behaviour and maintain a positive, inclusive learning environment
  • Assisting with the preparation of learning materials and classroom organization
  • Monitoring and assessing student progress, providing feedback to the teacher and contributing to reports
  • Encouraging social and emotional development through positive interactions with students

Qualifications:

  • NVQ Level 3 in Supporting Teaching and Learning in Schools or equivalent
  • Experience working with children in an educational setting
  • Understanding of SEN and strategies to support diverse learners
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for supporting children’s learning and development
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team as well as independently

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
