Level 3 Teaching Assistant – Full Time

Runcorn (WA7) | September 2026 Start

Pay Rate: £14.25 - £15.50 per hour (DOE)

Teaching Personnel are working in partnership with a welcoming and supportive primary school in the Runcorn area to recruit a Level 3 Qualified Teaching Assistant for a full-time, long-term position starting in September 2026.

This is an excellent opportunity for a passionate Teaching Assistant looking for stability within a forward-thinking primary setting, with the possibility of the role continuing a long-term basis.

The Role

As a Level 3 Teaching Assistant, you will:

  • Support pupils across the primary age range, both in the classroom and through small-group interventions
  • Work closely with the class teacher to help deliver engaging and accessible lessons
  • Provide targeted support for children who require additional help with learning or behaviour
  • Assist with classroom organisation, resources and daily routines
  • Contribute positively to the wider school community and always uphold safeguarding practices

This is a full-time, long-term role with consistency and structure from the start of the academic year.

The Ideal Candidate

The successful candidate will:

  • Hold a Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent)
  • Have previous experience working in a UK primary school setting
  • Be confident supporting pupils with a range of needs
  • Be patient, caring and enthusiastic about supporting children’s development
  • Have strong communication skills and be able to work effectively as part of a team
  • Be able to commit to full-time work from September 2026
