Graduate Opportunities in Wigan & Warrington Primary Schools
Start Date: Ongoing, Flexible Full-Time & Part-Time Roles
Are you a recent graduate considering a career in education? Are you looking to gain valuable, hands-on experience in a primary school setting before potentially pursuing teacher training?
We are working with a range of primary schools who are seeking enthusiastic graduates to support pupils across Early Years, Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2. These roles are ideal for individuals looking to build classroom experience and develop the skills needed for a future career in teaching, educational psychology, or other education-based professions.
The Role:
• Supporting teaching and learning in the classroom.
• Working with small groups or on a one-to-one basis.
• Assisting pupils with a range of needs, including SEND and EAL.
• Helping to create a positive, engaging learning environment.
• Gaining exposure to lesson planning, behaviour management, and assessment.
We are looking for candidates who:
• Hold a degree (any subject considered).
• Have a genuine interest in working with children and young people.
• Are patient, proactive, and eager to learn.
• Have strong communication and interpersonal skills.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
