Level 3 Teaching Assistant – Primary Schools | Sheffield & Barnsley
We are looking for skilled and enthusiastic Level 3 Teaching Assistants to join a range of supportive primary schools across Sheffield and Barnsley. If you are passionate about helping children succeed and want to play a key role in their learning journey, we’d love to hear from you!
Location: Sheffield & Barnsley
Role: Level 3 Teaching Assistant – Primary Schools
Start Date: immediate starts available
⏰ Contract: Full-time / Part-time | Term-time only | Long-term
Key Responsibilities:
- Support teaching and learning across EYFS, KS1, or KS2
- Deliver small group work and targeted interventions
- Provide 1:1 support for pupils, including those with SEN or additional needs
- Assist teachers in planning and delivering engaging lessons
- Help create a positive, safe, and inclusive learning environment
✅ Requirements:
- Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent)
- Experience working in a primary school setting
- Strong understanding of the national curriculum
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
