Ad Hoc Supply Teaching Assistant (Level 3 Qualified) – Primary
Cambridge and Surrounding Areas – Via Teaching Personnel
Teaching Personnel is seeking flexible and reliable Level 3 Qualified Teaching Assistants to work on an ad hoc basis across a range of primary schools. This is a great opportunity for support staff who enjoy variety, flexibility, and working in different school settings without the commitment of a long-term role.
As a Supply Teaching Assistant, you will support class teachers and pupils throughout the school day, helping to create a positive and inclusive learning environment. You may work 1:1 with pupils, in small groups, or provide general classroom support depending on the needs of the school.
Roles and Responsibilities:
• Support the class teacher with classroom activities and daily routines
• Work with pupils 1:1 or in small groups to support learning and engagement
• Assist with behaviour management and promote positive behaviour
• Help prepare learning resources and maintain a safe classroom environment
• Support pupils with additional needs where required
• Follow school policies and procedures at all times
Ideal Candidate Needs:
• Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification
• Experience working in UK primary schools
• Confident, adaptable and proactive approach to supporting learning
• A can-do attitude and willingness to work across various schools
• Driving licence and ability to travel is highly desired, but not essential

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
