Job description

Are you a Level 3 qualified EYFS or Supporting Teaching and Learning practitioner looking for a full-time role?
Do you have a passion for early years education or supporting children with additional needs?

Nursery schools and mainstream primary schools within the Solihull Borough are seeking dedicated and experienced Level 3 qualified support staff to join their teams on a full-time basis. Roles are available in both nursery settings and SEN support roles within mainstream primary schools.

This is a fantastic opportunity for individuals who are committed to making a meaningful impact on children’s early development and supporting pupils with additional needs in a nurturing environment.

The Role:

  • Support the learning and development of children within EYFS settings or in SEN-focused roles
  • Assist with the delivery of engaging, play-based learning activities
  • Provide 1:1 or small group support for pupils with additional needs
  • Help create a safe, inclusive, and stimulating learning environment
  • Work closely with class teachers and SENCOs to support individual learning plans
  • Support pupils’ social, emotional, and behavioural development

The Ideal Candidate Will:

  • Hold a Level 3 qualification in EYFS, Childcare, or Supporting Teaching and Learning
  • Have recent experience working within nurseries or mainstream primary schools
  • Have experience supporting children with Special Educational Needs (SEN) (desirable but not essential)
  • Demonstrate a strong understanding of the EYFS framework
  • Be patient, nurturing, and adaptable in their approach
  • Have strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Be committed to supporting the development and wellbeing of young learners

These roles are available to start ASAP, with full-time positions available.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
