Level 3 Nursery Teaching Assistant
Job description
A warm and welcoming nursery setting based in B15 is seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Level 3 EYFS Teaching Assistant to join their Early Years team on a full-time basis. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a supportive and nurturing environment that places strong emphasis on early development, independence, and play-based learning.
About the Role
You will be based within the nursery, working closely with the Class Teacher and Early Years team to support children during this crucial stage of their development. The role involves supporting learning through play, promoting independence, and helping to create a safe, stimulating, and engaging environment for all pupils.
Key Responsibilities
- Support children’s learning and development in line with the EYFS Framework
- Work with small groups to support targeted learning
- Assist with daily classroom routines and activities
- Support children’s social, emotional, and personal development
- Work collaboratively with teachers and support staff
What We’re Looking For
- Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (Essential)
- Experience working within a nursery or Early Years setting
- Strong understanding of the EYFS curriculum
- A nurturing, patient, and proactive approach
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- A genuine passion for supporting young children

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
