Level 3 Early Years Practitioner

Lovely Nursery Setting | Temporary Role

  • UK EYFS Nursery
  • 40 hours per week
  • Starting September
  • Through Teaching Personnel

Do you have a passion for early childhood development and a nurturing approach that helps little learners thrive? We are working with a warm, welcoming nursery seeking a dedicated Level 3 Early Years Practitioner to join their friendly team from September.

This is a full-time, temporary position (40 hours per week) offering the opportunity to make a meaningful impact during a crucial stage of children’s development — all with the support and flexibility of Teaching Personnel, the UK’s leading education recruitment agency.


 The Role

As a Level 3 Practitioner, you will:

  • Create a safe, stimulating and inclusive environment for young children
  • Plan and deliver play-based learning activities aligned with the EYFS framework
  • Support children’s learning, development and emotional wellbeing
  • Observe, assess and record children’s progress
  • Build positive relationships with children, parents and colleagues
  • Uphold safeguarding, health and safety, and nursery policies at all times

 Essential Qualifications & Requirements (EYFS – UK)

To work in this role, you must have:

  • A full and relevant Level 3 Early Years qualification, such as:
    • Level 3 Diploma for the Early Years Workforce (Early Years Educator)
    • NVQ Level 3 in Children’s Care, Learning and Development
    • CACHE Level 3 Diploma in Childcare and Education
  • A good understanding of the EYFS framework
  • Knowledge of safeguarding and child protection procedures
  • GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths
  • The right to work in the UK
  • Ability to obtain (or already hold) an enhanced DBS check
