Lovely Nursery Setting | Temporary Role

Do you have a passion for early childhood development and a nurturing approach that helps little learners thrive? We are working with a warm, welcoming nursery seeking a dedicated Level 3 Early Years Practitioner to join their friendly team from September.
This is a full-time, temporary position (40 hours per week) offering the opportunity to make a meaningful impact during a crucial stage of children’s development — all with the support and flexibility of Teaching Personnel, the UK’s leading education recruitment agency.
The Role
As a Level 3 Practitioner, you will:
- Create a safe, stimulating and inclusive environment for young children
- Plan and deliver play-based learning activities aligned with the EYFS framework
- Support children’s learning, development and emotional wellbeing
- Observe, assess and record children’s progress
- Build positive relationships with children, parents and colleagues
- Uphold safeguarding, health and safety, and nursery policies at all times
Essential Qualifications & Requirements (EYFS – UK)
To work in this role, you must have:
- A full and relevant Level 3 Early Years qualification, such as:
- Level 3 Diploma for the Early Years Workforce (Early Years Educator)
- NVQ Level 3 in Children’s Care, Learning and Development
- CACHE Level 3 Diploma in Childcare and Education
- A good understanding of the EYFS framework
- Knowledge of safeguarding and child protection procedures
- GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths
- The right to work in the UK
- Ability to obtain (or already hold) an enhanced DBS check

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
