We are working with a school in Wouldham, Rochester who are looking for a Learning Support Assistant to support individuals and small groups with their educational and emotional needs.
This school is an independent school, which currently caters for up to 32 students aged 5-11 years with an EHCP. These students may have Autism, ADHD or social, emotional and mental health difficulties.
This is a permanent role, Monday- Friday and will be 37.5 hours per year (term time only)
The ideal candidate will:
- Have lots of patience, be proactive and resilient- this role can be challenging, but it is very rewarding!
- Previous experience working with SEND children or as a Support Worker or Care Assistant would be helpful
- Have a good Level of English and Maths (A-C Grade)
- Be flexible and engaging and have new fresh ideas of how to support the children

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
