Job Title: Learning Support Assistant
Actual Salary: £12.90 - £13
Location: Liverpool and surrounding areas
Start Date: Immediate start
We are seeking a Secondary Learning support Assistant for a Liverpool based school. We are looking for candidates who have expereince and/or an understanding of the role of an SEN assistant and the additional provisions that are associated with this role.
Job Specification
- Assisting the SENDCo in supporting the students to achieve their Learning Objectives and to report on their development and progress.
- Prioritise the needs of the individual student and adapt their learning and provisions to suit their intellectual abilities to maximise elarning outcomes.
- Contribute towards the planning of projects, execution and displaying of work.
- Attend and contribute to school events; open days, presentation evenings, parents evenings, etc.
- Support the teacher with effective classroom management, including behaviour management, completion of registers, resource management and general cleanliness and tidiness.
- Making daily observations of students; attitude towards learning, lesson interaction, behaviour and general moral.
Person Specification
- You have a passion to support a child with complex SEN needs and complex
- Are looking to gain classroom experience
- You have a calm and professional approach
- You would enjoy working with pupils 1:1 or in a small group

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
