A high achieving secondary school is seeking to appoint an experienced member of staff to join their successful department when they reopen, following the current lockdown.

  • GBP1160-GBP1400 per month

With a broad curriculum and a variety of extra-curricular activities designed to actively involve pupils in the learning process, this school is driven to develop each pupil’s full potential. As a Learning Support Assistant, your work will be pivotal to the school achieving this vision.

Your role will involve working with small groups of pupils n the school’s on-site Learning Support Provision Unit, as well as supporting pupils on a one-to-one basis within the classroom. You will primarily focus on barriers to learning and helping pupils to overcome them to ensure all pupils can excel in their mainstream education. In addition to this, you will support the department by running sessions with target pupils, concentrating on helping them engage with subject material and progress in accordance with their target grades.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
