Teaching Personnel is currently recruiting Learning Support Assistants to join a specialist SEN Primary School in the Southampton area from September. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a highly supportive environment, helping children with complex additional needs thrive both academically and personally.

The Role
As a Learning Support Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting children with complex special educational needs throughout the school day. Working closely with teachers and specialist staff, you will help pupils access learning, develop independence and reach their individual goals.
Key Responsibilities

Support pupils with complex special educational needs on a one-to-one basis and in small groups.

Encourage learning, communication, independence and social development.

Assist with sensory activities, emotional regulation and personal development.

Build positive, trusting relationships with pupils, staff and families.

Work collaboratively with teachers, therapists and other professionals to provide the best outcomes for every child.
About You
We are looking for individuals who are:

Experienced in working with children or vulnerable adults (preferred but not essential).

Excellent communicators with a positive, proactive attitude.

What We Offer
