Southampton
£14.30 per hour

Teaching Personnel are seeking 1:1 Learning Support Assistants to work with pupils with Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs) in schools across Southampton.

Your role

  • Providing individual support to pupils with additional needs

  • Helping students access learning and build confidence

  • Supporting communication and emotional regulation

  • Working closely with teachers and SEND coordinators

Ideal experience

We welcome applicants from backgrounds such as:

  • Teaching assistants or education support

  • Care work

  • Youth work

  • Camp America

  • Nursery or childcare

  • Healthcare or support roles

Requirements

  • Available at least 4 days per week

  • Enhanced Child Workforce DBS on the Update Service or willingness to apply

  • A patient and supportive approach

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
