Location: Shoreham, West Sussex
Start Date: September 2026
Pay: £93 – £100 per day

Full-Time Teaching Assistant Opportunity in Shoreham
Are you passionate about supporting children with Special Educational Needs (SEN) and helping them achieve their full potential? Teaching Personnel is currently recruiting a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming primary school in Shoreham from September.
This rewarding full-time role involves providing tailored support to pupils with a range of additional needs, helping them access learning, develop confidence, and thrive both academically and socially within the classroom environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Support children with SEN on a one-to-one and small group basis.
- Assist the class teacher in delivering engaging and inclusive lessons.
- Help implement individual learning plans and targeted interventions.
- Encourage positive behaviour and emotional wellbeing.
- Support pupils in developing communication, social, and independence skills.
- Work collaboratively with teaching staff, SENCOs, and parents where required.
The Ideal Candidate
- Previous experience working with children or young people is desirable.
- Experience supporting individuals with SEN, including autism, ADHD, speech and language needs, or SEMH is advantageous.
- Patient, caring, and adaptable approach.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Passionate about making a positive difference in children's lives.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
