We have an exciting opportunity for a full-time Learning Support Assistant at a welcoming campus in Poole.

This role offers the chance to work across both primary and secondary settings, supporting pupils aged 2 to 18 years with a range of learning needs including autism, communication difficulties, and social and emotional challenges.

 

About the Role

This is a rewarding position where you will provide tailored support to pupils, helping them overcome barriers to learning and thrive in the classroom.

You will work closely with teachers and other professionals to create a positive and engaging learning environment. This is a full-time role with an immediate start, offering stability and the chance to make a lasting impact on young lives.

Your day will involve supporting pupils individually and in small groups, assisting with classroom activities, and encouraging confidence and independence.

You will play a vital role in ensuring every child feels valued and supported.

 

What We’re Looking For

To succeed in this role, you must have a minimum of six months’ childcare experience, particularly working with children who have SEN needs.

Patience, empathy, and adaptability are essential qualities, along with strong communication skills and a genuine passion for education.

Experience supporting children with autism, ADHD, or speech and language difficulties will be highly beneficial.

Your commitment to creating a safe and inclusive environment will help every learner feel empowered.
