Pay: From £93 per day

Teaching Personnel is looking for caring, enthusiastic, and dedicated Learning Support Assistants (LSAs) to work across a range of primary and secondary schools in Newbury and the surrounding areas.
This rewarding role is ideal for individuals who are passionate about education and want to make a real difference in the lives of young people by providing tailored support both inside and outside the classroom.
The Role
As a Learning Support Assistant, you will work closely with teachers and pupils to help create a positive and inclusive learning environment. You may support individual students, small groups, or whole classes, helping learners overcome barriers to education and achieve their full potential.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide classroom support to teachers and pupils
- Work one-to-one and in small groups with students who require additional support
- Help pupils stay engaged and motivated in their learning
- Support students with SEND, SEMH, or other additional needs
- Encourage positive behaviour and social development
- Build strong relationships with pupils, staff, and parents
- Assist with classroom preparation and resource organisation
What We're Looking For
- Experience working with children or young people is desirable
- A patient, positive, and resilient attitude
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- A genuine passion for supporting children's learning and development
- The ability to work effectively as part of a team
- An enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to obtain one

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
