Littlemore, Oxford | £14.25+ per hour | Full-Time & Part-Time Opportunities Available

Teaching Personnel is working in partnership with a number of inclusive and welcoming schools across Littlemore and Oxford, seeking dedicated LSAs to support pupils both inside and outside the classroom. About the Role
As a Learning Support Assistant, you'll become an integral part of the school community, providing vital support to students who require additional guidance to thrive academically, socially, and emotionally.
Your day-to-day responsibilities may include:
- Delivering tailored support to pupils on a 1:1 basis and in small group settings
- Assisting students with SEN, including Autism (ASC), ADHD, speech and language needs, and SEMH challenges
- Supporting teachers with classroom activities and learning interventions
- Building positive relationships that help boost pupils' confidence and engagement
- Encouraging independence and celebrating progress, no matter how small
- Promoting a safe, inclusive, and nurturing learning environment
- Assisting with behaviour management strategies and emotional wellbeing support
What We're Looking For

- Experienced in education, care, youth work, support work, or childcare settings
- Confident supporting children and young people with additional needs
- Patient, resilient, and adaptable in a variety of school environments
- Strong communicators with a proactive approach to learning support
- Passionate about helping pupils overcome barriers to education
- Committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
