Learning Support Assistant – Full Time – SEN Primary School (Havant)
Salary: £13.75 per hour

Teaching Personnel are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Learning Support Assistant (LSA) to join a warm and supportive SEN primary school in the Havant area. This is a full-time position ideal for someone passionate about helping children with additional needs thrive academically, socially, and emotionally.

About the Role

As a Learning Support Assistant, you will:

  • Provide 1:1 or small-group support to pupils with a range of Special Educational Needs

  • Assist the class teacher in delivering tailored learning activities

  • Help create an inclusive, safe, and engaging learning environment

  • Support pupils with communication, emotional regulation, and daily routines

  • Work collaboratively with teachers, SENCOs, and external professionals

What We’re Looking For

  • Experience working with children, ideally within SEN settings (schools, care, or youth work also considered)

  • Patience, empathy, and a nurturing approach

  • Strong communication skills and a willingness to learn

  • Reliability and a positive, proactive attitude

  • Ability to commit to full-time, school-hours work
