Learning Support Assistant (LSA) – Fareham Area
Are you passionate about supporting children and making a real difference in the classroom?
We are currently seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Learning Support Assistant (LSA) to work within welcoming and inclusive mainstream primary schools across the Fareham area.
This is a rewarding opportunity to provide 1:1 support for pupils with Special Educational Needs (SEN), helping them to access learning, build confidence, and achieve their full potential.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide 1:1 support for pupils with SEN
- Work with children across Key Stage 1 (KS1) and Key Stage 2 (KS2)
- Support the class teacher in delivering engaging and inclusive lessons
- Help create a positive, safe, and supportive learning environment
- Encourage pupils’ social and emotional development
The Ideal Candidate Will Have
- Experience working with children with Special Educational Needs (SEN)
- A patient, empathetic, and nurturing approach
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- The ability to build positive relationships with pupils and staff
- A flexible and proactive attitude

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
