Learning Support Assistant – SEN Secondary School
Location: Basingstoke area
Pay: £14.25 per hour
Start Date: ASAP

Teaching Personnel are looking for caring, resilient and enthusiastic Learning Support Assistants to join a specialist SEN secondary school in the Basingstoke area.
The school supports young people with complex Special Educational Needs (SEN) and Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs, providing a safe, supportive and nurturing environment where every student is encouraged to learn, develop and reach their potential.
As a Learning Support Assistant, you will work alongside teachers and experienced support staff to provide tailored support to students both 1:1 and in small groups. You will help students engage with their learning, develop confidence and independence, manage emotional and behavioural challenges, and build positive relationships.

Previous experience within SEN, SEMH, education, care, youth work or support work is highly desirable. However, candidates with transferable experience and the right attitude are also encouraged to apply.
