Learning Support Assistant - Flexible Working Options Available
Job description
We are seeking enthusiastic Learning Support Assistants to work across a range of secondary schools in Rochdale and Oldham. This is a fantastic opportunity to gain valuable, hands-on experience in classroom settings while supporting students in their learning and development.
Key Responsibilities

Provide in-class support to students across a variety of subjects

Assist teachers in delivering engaging and effective lessons

Work with small groups or individual students to support learning needs
-
Help manage classroom behaviour and promote a positive learning environment

Supervise and cover lessons in the absence of teaching staff when required

A positive, proactive, and flexible approach

Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Confidence working with young people aged 11–16

Ability to adapt quickly to different school environments

Previous experience working with young people

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
