Job description

We are seeking enthusiastic Learning Support Assistants to work across a range of secondary schools in Rochdale and Oldham. This is a fantastic opportunity to gain valuable, hands-on experience in classroom settings while supporting students in their learning and development.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide in-class support to students across a variety of subjects

  • Assist teachers in delivering engaging and effective lessons

  • Work with small groups or individual students to support learning needs

  • Help manage classroom behaviour and promote a positive learning environment

  • Supervise and cover lessons in the absence of teaching staff when required

What We’re Looking For

  • A positive, proactive, and flexible approach

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills

  • Confidence working with young people aged 11–16

  • Ability to adapt quickly to different school environments

  • Previous experience working with young people

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
