A well-regarded secondary school in Dorset is looking to appoint a committed and enthusiastic Languages Teacher to join their team as soon as possible on a full-time basis.

The successful applicant will be responsible for delivering high-quality Spanish and French lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4, inspiring students to develop strong linguistic abilities, cultural understanding, and confidence in both spoken and written communication.

Key responsibilities include:

• Planning and teaching engaging French and Spanish lessons for pupils in Years 7–11

• Adapting teaching approaches to meet the needs of learners of all abilities

• Building positive relationships with students through effective communication and high expectations

• Contributing to enrichment activities that support and enhance the languages curriculum

• Maintaining a supportive and inclusive classroom environment

The ideal candidate will have:

• A recognised teaching qualification (QTS, QTLS, or equivalent)

• Experience teaching Spanish and French at secondary level

• A flexible and proactive approach to classroom practice

• Strong organisational and interpersonal skills

• A genuine enthusiasm for language learning

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
