Job Title: English and Maths KS3 SEN Tutor

Location: East of England, Essex, Basildon

Primary Industry: Education and Training

Salary: £20 - £30 Per hour

Job Description

Job Duties:

• Deliver tailored English and Maths tutoring to Key Stage 3 students with Special Educational Needs (SEN)
• Create individualised learning plans to meet the diverse needs of students
• Assess student progress and provide feedback to parents and teachers
• Collaborate with school staff to support the academic development of SEN students

Required Qualifications:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• Experience working with students with SEN
• Strong knowledge of the KS3 English and Maths curriculum

Education:

• Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Education or related field

Experience:

• At least 2 years of experience in tutoring or teaching English and Maths

Knowledge and Skills:

• Understanding of SEN strategies and interventions
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet individual student needs

Working Conditions:

• Part-time hours, flexible schedule
• Work in a leaners home or local library with SEN students
• Potential for remote tutoring sessions

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
