Job Title: English and Maths KS3 SEN Tutor
Location: East of England, Essex, Basildon
Primary Industry: Education and Training
Salary: £20 - £30 Per hour
Job Description
Job Duties:
- Deliver tailored English and Maths tutoring to Key Stage 3 students with Special Educational Needs (SEN)
- Create individualised learning plans to meet the diverse needs of students
- Assess student progress and provide feedback to parents and teachers
- Collaborate with school staff to support the academic development of SEN students
Required Qualifications:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Experience working with students with SEN
- Strong knowledge of the KS3 English and Maths curriculum
Education:
- Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Education or related field
Experience:
- At least 2 years of experience in tutoring or teaching English and Maths
Knowledge and Skills:
- Understanding of SEN strategies and interventions
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet individual student needs
Working Conditions:
- Part-time hours, flexible schedule
- Work in a leaners home or local library with SEN students
- Potential for remote tutoring sessions

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
