Teaching Personnel is recruiting enthusiastic and dedicated KS2 Teaching Assistants to work in primary schools across Exmouth and surrounding areas from September.

Role Details

Position: KS2 Teaching Assistant
Location: Exmouth and surrounding areas
Start Date: September
Pay: Competitive weekly pay (dependent on experience)
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am – 3:30pm
Contract: Flexible supply, short-term, long-term, full-time or part-time
Term Time Only

What You'll Be Doing

• Supporting the class teacher in delivering engaging KS2 lessons
• Working with pupils on a 1:1 basis or in small groups
• Helping children build confidence and make progress in learning
• Encouraging positive behaviour and classroom participation
• Assisting with classroom preparation and resources
• Supporting pupils with varying learning needs

We Are Looking For Candidates Who:

• Have experience working with children or young people (school experience desirable)
• Are positive, patient, and enthusiastic
• Have strong communication and teamwork skills
• Are passionate about helping children succeed
• Hold a relevant TA qualification (desirable but not essential)
