An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic and dedicated Year 3 Primary Teacher to join a welcoming and supportive school community in Wigan from September 2025. We are looking for a passionate educator with a strong commitment to inspiring young learners and helping them achieve their full potential.
About the role:
- Start-date: 1st September
- Ongoing/long-term
- Opportunity to earn between £30,000 to £40,000 (dependent on experience)
As the Year 3 class teacher, you will be responsible for planning and delivering creative and engaging lessons in line with the KS2 National Curriculum. You will create a positive, inclusive classroom environment where all pupils feel supported and encouraged to succeed. You will monitor and assess pupil progress, adapting your teaching to meet the needs of all learners, and maintain strong communication with parents and carers. Working collaboratively with colleagues, you will contribute to whole-school initiatives and uphold the school’s values and ethos.
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
- Experience teaching within a primary school, ECT’s encouraged to apply
- A strong understanding of the primary curriculum and effective teaching strategies
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- A creative, energetic and reflective approach to teaching and learning
- Commitment to ongoing professional development

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
