Teaching Personnel is working in partnership with a welcoming and well-established primary school in the Vale of Glamorgan to recruit a dedicated KS2 Teacher for a full-time maternity cover position. This is an excellent opportunity for an ECT to gain valuable classroom experience, build confidence in a supportive environment, and make a lasting impact on pupils during an important stage of their educational journey.

The Role

• Take full responsibility for a KS2 class, delivering engaging and inspiring lessons across the curriculum.
• Create a positive learning environment that encourages confidence, independence, and academic progress.
• Plan, prepare, and assess lessons in line with Curriculum for Wales expectations.
• Monitor pupil achievement and provide targeted support where required.
• Work collaboratively with experienced teachers and support staff to deliver high-quality learning experiences.

• Holds QTS.
• Passionate about helping KS2 pupils succeed both academically and personally.
• Confident in managing classroom behaviour and building positive relationships.
• Committed to delivering engaging and inclusive lessons.
