Teaching Personnel is currently partnering with a welcoming primary school in the Vale of Glamorgan to recruit a passionate KS2 Teacher for a full-time maternity cover position. The Role

As the successful candidate, you will be responsible for delivering engaging and creative lessons across Key Stage 2, ensuring that all pupils have access to high-quality learning experiences. You will take ownership of planning, assessment and classroom management, while creating a positive learning environment that supports both academic achievement and personal development. Working closely with colleagues and support staff, you will play an active role in the wider school community and contribute to maintaining the high standards of teaching and learning expected throughout the school.

The Ideal Candidate

The school is seeking a teacher who holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and has a genuine passion for primary education. You will be confident in managing a classroom, adapting learning to meet individual pupil needs and building positive relationships with children, staff and parents alike. Successful applicants will demonstrate strong communication skills, enthusiasm for teaching and a commitment to supporting pupils throughout their educational journey. Whether you are an ECT or an experienced teacher, a positive attitude and willingness to contribute to school life are essential.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
