Are you a passionate and dedicated KS2 teacher seeking an exciting opportunity to inspire and educate young minds?

Teaching Personnel is delighted to be representing a well-respected primary school in the HX5 area, and we are looking for an enthusiastic and committed KS2 Teacher to join their team.

Position: KS2 Teacher

Location: WF12, Wakefield

 Contract Type: Flexible to you!

 Start Date: September 2023

Pay: £120-£160 per day

Role and Responsibilities: As the KS2 Teacher, you will play a vital role in nurturing the educational growth and emotional well-being of students aged 7 to 11 years old. Your responsibilities will include:

  1. Planning and delivering engaging and interactive lessons that align with the national curriculum.
  2. Creating a stimulating learning environment that promotes curiosity, critical thinking, and creativity.
  3. Providing personalized support and guidance to students to ensure their academic progress and development.
  4. Assessing and monitoring student performance, providing timely feedback, and setting achievable learning objectives.
  5. Collaborating with colleagues to develop and share best teaching practices and resources.
  6. Engaging with parents and guardians to build strong partnerships and support students' learning journey.

Requirements: To succeed in this role, you will need:

  1. Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
  2. Experience teaching KS2 in a school setting, preferably within the UK.
  3. A thorough understanding of the national curriculum and a commitment to delivering high-quality education.
  4. Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with students, colleagues, and parents.
  5. A genuine passion for education and a dedication to making a positive impact on young learners.
  6. Excellent organizational skills and the ability to plan creative and dynamic lessons.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
